The Nurture Nature Center in Easton, PA is a science-based organization that combines science, art, and community dialogue to get people talking and thinking critically about environmental issues in their communities. Rising Waters was created by the Nurture Nature Center to help audiences understand the connections between climate and flooding. There is both a docent-led version and an autorun version of Rising Waters available. In addition, the Nurture Nature Center developed a guide for how to do a community dialogue program. It is available online.
The autorun version is divided into three segments, A: Conditions for Precipitation, B: Current and Future Precipitation Trends, C: The Impact of Flooding on People. These segments can either be shown separately or combined for a full presentation. All of the segments together are approximately 15 minutes long.
