• Call your SOS site and make sure they are aware of the activity
• Download the teacher instructions and student guidelines
• Browse the SOS Dataset Catalog and refine the datasets your students can choose or be assigned to present on. The dataset catalog can be filtered by:
  • Major Category: Air, Water, People, Snow and Ice, Land
  • Themes: Animals, Climate Change, Human Impacts, Natural Disasters, Major Events, Plate Tectonics, Pollution, Renewable Energy, Solar System
  • Keywords
• Prepare your presentations (5 × 5 min)
• Email the datasets to the SOS site
• Present on SOS during your field trip
