NOAA enriches life through science with a focus on the ocean, atmosphere, weather, climate, and Great Lakes. NOAA’s reach goes from the surface of the sun to the depths of the ocean floor as it works to keep the public informed of the changing environment around them. Some of NOAA’s more widely-known divisions include the National Weather Service, the National Hurricane Center, and NOAA Fisheries.
