SOS Explorer® on Your Personal Computer

This new version coming soon will be free with limited customer support. Check Equipment for Classrooms — Mirrored Set-up to see if this version is right for you. SOS Explorer® as an Exhibit
Permalink to SOS Explorer® as an ExhibitIf you plan to use SOS Explorer as a freestanding exhibit, for the public to use, i.e. in a museum setting, including full customer service, the process is straightforward and begins by emailing sos.contact@noaa.gov. From first contact with NOAA to final installation by a distributor, the process takes several months, so be sure to plan ahead.
SOS Explorer® Mobile
Permalink to SOS Explorer® MobileIf your computer is not capable of running SOS Explorer® or you prefer a version that can be installed freely on mobile devices including Chromebooks and Mac with Apple silicon try SOS Explorer® Mobile. SOS Explorer Mobile is the same software but with a subset of the functionality. For example, you cannot add your own content to SOSx Mobile or use it without Internet access.
