Feats and Footprints: Our Relationship with Earth uses Science On a Sphere to look at the feats we've accomplished and the footprints we've left as humans. This script was written with a target audience of ages 14 and older (high school and above) in mind. However, easy modifications can be made to include a wider age range. For example, you can revise the audience questions to make them more targeted and make the explanations less technical to appeal to younger audience members. The directions in each section correspond to the script paragraph of the same letter. In addition to the script, there is an instructional appendix available for assistance with using the new features.
With the release of the 4.0 version of the SOS software came several new features including annotation, zooming, and layering. In order to introduce the new features, Hollings Scholar Audrey Eggenberger, under the guidance of the NOAA SOS team, put together three new scripts that utilize all the new features.
